Pala Interactive launches New Jersey poker site
Proprietary-built PalaPoker.com launched in an open beta after three years of development

Pala Interactive has become the latest brand to enter the New Jersey poker market with the launch of its PalaPoker.com site.
The product, built on a proprietary platform, will initially be offered in an open beta period with the company seeking input from players.
“We are excited to get our poker product launched as we have spent the last three years building a new poker platform in preparation for state based online gaming regulation in the US,” said Jim Ryan, CEO of Pala Interactive.
“In addition to the current regulated market in New Jersey, we believe that other states may regulate online gaming and specifically online poker in the foreseeable future.
Ryan also said Pala would be looking to offer the new platform as a B2B service, adding: “We are excited to provide another option to those in the market for a poker platform and look forward to discussions with new B2B partners.”
Pala said the PalaPoker.com platform is entirely new, and uses cloud-based technology, enabling it to scale rapidly.
The site will also offer cross-sell opportunities, with players able to access 250 games at PalaCasino.com .
The launch of a new brand into the New Jersey poker market will surprise some, with the vertical seeing revenues fall 14% year-on-year in April to $2m.
Pala Interactive began operating the PalaCasino.com brand in the fall of 2014 and followed that up with the launch of PalaBingoUSA.com in spring of 2016.
