Partouche and France Pari partner for international expansion
Operators to use site founded by Laurent Tapie to target UK market.

Groupe Partouche has extended its partnership with French sports betting operator France Pari to relaunch Livebetting.com, the site sold to Partouche by Laurent Tapie in 2008.
The companies first established a partnership through Partouche subsidiary Partouche Images to launch an ARJEL-licensed sportsbook Placedesparis.fr, using France Pari’s software supplied through its Sportnco B2B subsidiary.
This agreement has now been expanded for the launch of an English-language offering Livebetting.com, licensed in Malta. Livebetting.com was established by Laurent Tapie, who has reportedly agreed a deal to acquire Full Tilt Poker, in 2005, and was sold to Partouche in 2008. Following the acquisition it was renamed Partouche Betting, with Tapie becoming managing director of Partouche Interactive until 2009.
The deal follows France Pari’s acquisition of Betnet, completed in December last year, with the company looking to snatch a share of the French horse betting market from the likes of PMU and ZETurf.
