Partouche poised to relaunch poker site
Announcement from French operator follows a 16.7% decline in interactive turnover.

Groupe Partouche will relaunch its online poker site following a 16.7% year-on-year decline in first-trimester interactive turnover, the operator revealed in its results for the four months ended 31 January.
Partouche Interactive contributes just 1.3% of group turnover, with a decline of 400,000 over the course of the trimester bringing its total down to 1.6m (£1.36m).
However the group is expected to see its online numbers boosted over the course of 2012 after becoming one of the first operators to receive a licence in the newly regulated Belgian market.
Overall turnover was up 1.4% for the period, thanks to a 2.5% increase in turnover from the group’s land-based casinos, while hotel turnover declined by 5.6% compared to the corresponding period in the 2010-11 financial year.
