PartyPoker to launch global advertising campaign
Bwin.party reveal global campaign for its revamped poker product across multiple channels
Bwin.party is to launch a new global TV advertising campaign to promote its revamped PartyPoker product.
The campaign features the tagline ‘The Game is Changing’ with TV advertisements displaying a packed city being bombarded with playing cards before introducing the revamped product as being available on desktop, mobile and tablet.
The campaign, which has already launched in the UK, will consist of television spots, as well as online and print advertising.
The revamped offering went live in September following more than a year’s worth of development and is major part of the firm’s growth strategy following sustained decline in poker revenues during 2013.
The German branch of interactive agency Tribal DDB created the new ads and a separate advert, to be directed by Danish director Martin Aamund, and is to promote several of PartyPoker’s new features.
The news comes after two of the operator’s major shareholders Ruth Parasol and Russell DeLeon agreed to sell their entire shareholding rather than submit individual applications for a licence in New Jersey.
An earlier version of this story indicated the advertising campaign would be targeted specifically at the German market. This was incorrect and we’d like to apologise to bwin.party for the error.
