Perform signs deal with Football DataCo
Partnership sees Perform appointed as data firm's first official global betting live data provider

Sports data firm Perform Group has partnered with Football DataCo to become its official supplier of live data to the betting sector.
The three-year deal starts from the 2013/14 football season and will see eGaming Review sports data provider of the year Perform provide live data feeds to bookmakers from over 3,000 matches.
Opta, the official media data collection and distribution partner for DataCo, was recently acquired by Perform after the AIM-listed firm raised funds of £40m through a new share pricing. DataCo markets the official match data for the Barclays Premier League, the Football League and Scottish Professional Football League.
Perform’s joint-CEO Simon Denyer said the firm was pleased with the deal and hinted at new in-play products in the near future: “We will begin marketing this content to our customers ahead of the 2013/14 season and, as with most rights agreements, expect take-up to increase over the life of the contract.”
“In addition to this content, we are investing in a series of exciting product developments that will help bookmakers innovate and improve their in-play offerings and we look forward to launching them over the coming months,” he added.
The new deal follows strong financial results for Perform with the company posting revenue growth of 37% for the first six months of 2013.
