Pinnacle Entertainment "in talks to buy Epic Poker League"
Land-based casino operator understood to be considering acquisition of Federated Sports+Gaming league.

Pinnacle Entertainment, which operates eight land-based casinos in the United States, is believed to be in discussions to acquire the Epic Poker League.
According to online poker magazine Wicked Chops Insider, the operator “ whose properties include the River City Casino in St Louis and Cincinnati’s River Downs racecourse “ is expected to complete the deal within the next 60 days.
The league is currently owned by Federated Sports+Gaming, while its commissioner is former UltimateBet sponsored poker player Annie Duke (pictured).
Its membership is comprised of the highest-earning and most successful poker players worldwide, although in September it suspended Tiltware board members Howard Lederer and Chris Ferguson in the light of the amendments to the Black Friday civil complaint concerning Full Tilt Poker’s software company.
