Pinnacle receives Alderney licence
Sports betting operator already held a Curaçap licence, and its AGCC accreditation follows "months of due diligence".

Sports betting and casino operator Pinnacle Sports has been awarded a full egaming licence by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC).
The company, which will also retain its existing Curaçao licence, has said the approval “Rubber-stamps months of due diligence of Pinnacle Sports’ betting and casino products.”
Head of affiliates Ryan Henderson told eGaming Review: “The Alderney licence is Europe-facing i.e. it moves us onto the list of EU white labelled providers.”
“It…provides a perfect spring board from which to continue to grow our European player base ahead of a crucial summer of European focused sports featuring the Euro 2012 Championships and the Summer Olympics,” explained Marketing director Aly Lalani.
Pinnacle is the second egaming operator to be approved by the AGCC this month, after Sportech received a licence from the regulator for its Vernons and Littlewoods brands.
Last year the AGCC appointed former UK Gambling Commission chair Peter Dean to carry out an external review of its conduct leading up to the suspension and revocation of licences held by former licensee Full Tilt Poker. The results of the review were published in March.
Robin Le Prevost, director of ecommerce development for the Government of Alderney, said: “[Pinnacle is] a quality operation as attested by the grant and this licence will open up new markets for them and continue their well-earned success, an Alderney licence establishes their maturity and growth.”
