PKR launches Italian site
Italian dot.com players will be able to transfer their accounts to new dot.it site.
PKR has launched an Italian poker room, following the legalisation of cash poker in the country last July.
Italian players will be able to play cash games, Sit’n’Go’s and free-play practice tables, with native versions of multi-table tournaments including the PKR Open and daily freerolls. Players who previously held accounts on PKR.com will be able to transfer their username, PKR Points balance and Club PKR loyalty level to the Italian site, while still being able to receive a first deposit bonus.
PKR CEO Malcolm Graham said: “We’re delighted to be able to welcome Italian players to PKR.it. The Italian poker market represents an exciting opportunity for PKR and we hope that players from all over Italy enjoy the unique PKR experience.”
The launch comes after PKR rolled out The Poker Wiki, a poker encyclopedia populated by user-generated content, last week.
