
PKR signs Triple-Crown winner Cody
Poker Triple-Crown holder is second World Series of Poker bracelet winner to join the operator's stable.

British poker player Jake Cody has become the latest member of Team PKR Pro after signing a sponsorship deal with the Alderney-licensed operator.
Twenty-two year-old Cody (pictured), from Rochdale in the UK, is the youngest winner of poker’s ‘Triple Crown’ (World Poker Tour, European Poker Tour and World Series of Poker titles), and has more than US$3m in lifetime earnings.
He is the seventh player to join the operator’s stable, which also includes World Series of Poker Europe bracelet winner Scott Shelley.
Cody will be part of a British team at tonight’s Poker Nations Cup, hosted by the game’s governing body, the International Federation of Poker. eGaming Review will be present at the event, which also features teams from Brazil, Spain and the “digital nation” of Zynga.
PKR marketing director Simon Prodger said: “[Cody] is the future of poker, a perfect example of the new breed of players who are taking the game to new heights.”
