London-listed supplier inks comprehensive deal with state-owned operator ahead of market opening in October

Playtech has put pen to paper on a new long-term strategic partnership with Holland Casino ahead of the opening of the Dutch online gambling market in Q4 2021.
Under the remit of the agreement, Playtech will become Holland Casino’s technology supplier, providing the operator with its full multichannel offering.
Holland Casino will gain access to the London-listed supplier’s IMS platform, sports betting, online casino, live casino, poker and bingo products in the multifaceted deal.
Playtech will also build a live casino facility in the immediate vicinity of one of Holland Casino’s existing 14 casinos across the Netherlands.
Additionally, the supplier giant will also provide Holland Casino with operational and marketing services to complement its software agreement.
Mor Weizer, Playtech, CEO, said: “We are delighted to announce this strategic cooperation with Holland Casino. The brand strength and local presence of Holland Casino combined with Playtech’s 20 years of technology leadership in the industry will see us drive the online growth of the market in Holland.
“We look forward to working with Holland Casino to offer the highest quality, most comprehensive responsible gambling entertainment experience across retail and online in the Dutch market,” he added.
Peel Hunt analyst Ivor Jones commented: “Playtech today announced a commercial agreement with Holland Casino, continuing a sequence of deals that diversify its revenue base and demonstrate the advantage of its relatively new, modular, approach to providing its services.”
