Playtech revamps bingo product in Italy
London-listed supplier adds two-line prize and 75 ball UK bingo to portfolio of products in the Italian market

Playtech has launched a new bingo portfolio in Italy in a bid to take advantage of recent regulatory changes that allow for more variety in the vertical.
The supplier expanded its platform following updated regulation called PBAD3 protocol, which allows the same level of differentiation and flexibility in bingo in Italy as in other markets.
Sisal, Snaitech and William Hill have all gone live with the new software which now allows operators to specifically target Italian players.
The updated bingo product includes the addition of a two-line prize as well as 75-ball UK bingo. Playtech bingo MD Angus Nisbet described variation as the “last missing piece of the Italian regulatory framework”.
Nisbet said: “Becoming the first platform in Italy to make the most of the updated protocol is a significant moment in developing our offer in what is an important market.
“The speed with which we have been able to expand our offering in Italy reflects our commitment to growing and building our offering in new and existing regulated markets,” he added.
London-listed operator GVC has also revamped its Italian bingo platform following the regulatory change.
