Playtech ties-up Betfred.com and Featurespace deals
Supplier giant extends content deal with Betfred and seals partnership with fraud prevention and risk management specialist

Playtech has extended its long-running deal with Betfred.com and penned a new partnership with fraud prevention and risk management specialist Featurespace.
Using the final day of ICE to make the announcements, Playtech said the multi-year extension would see the firm provide content to Betfred.com well into the next decade, having already been servicing the bookie for more than 10 years.
The deal gives Betfred.com access to Playtech’s exclusive licensee £500,000 cash casino network promotion on new iconic DC Entertainment-branded film and television properties, which launches at the end of February and runs for four weeks.
Meanwhile, the renewal also enables Betfred.com to offer Playtech’s bingo, poker and live casino products for the same extended period.
Playtech CEO Mor Weizer described Betfred.com as one of the supplier’s “key partners” and was happy to have extended a partnership he himself helped form during his early time at the supplier.
“Betfred was one of the first contracts I put together when I joined Playtech more than 10 years ago so to agree this with them until beyond 2020 is fantastic news,” Weizer said.
Meanwhile, Playtech also struck a deal with Featurespace, a firm which uses Adaptive Behavioural Analytics and machine learning to boost fraud prevention and improve risk management.
The collaboration will see Featurespace’s ARIC™ technology solutions integrated into Playtech’s player management system to provide an enhanced layer of fraud and risk management tools for Playtech licensees.
Playtech COO Shimon Akad said the deal underlined the supplier’s commitment to provide its licensees with the best possible fraud prevention and risk management software.
