Playtech and Mobenga collaborate for first time
Launch of casino games portfolio on Paddy Power apps sees Playtech partner with mobile sportsbook subsidiary for first time.

The launch of a suite of mobile casino games for Paddy Power has seen Playtech work in partnership with its mobile sportsbook subsidiary Mobenga for the first time since its acquisition last year.
The portfolio of nine games, including roulette, blackjack and a number of slots, marks the first time the solutions provider has partnered with Mobenga since acquiring the business for up to 23.8m in July last year, with Playtech integrating the games into the Paddy Power iPad and iPhone apps. Mobenga was responsible for the technical development of both products.
Head of mobile Daniel Orkan explained the deal was a starting point for further collaborations between Playtech and its subsidiary businesses: “The launch is a milestone, not only in terms of merging Playtech and Mobenga’s expertise, but also for our operators who can now access new streams of revenue through our ever expanding cross-platform solution.
“We expect this venture with Paddy Power to be a great mutual success, setting the stage for future developments with Playtech’s mobile platform,” Orkan said.
The collaboration is the third deal involving Mobenga this month, after it agreed deals with Betboo and Sisal. Its partnership with Betboo sees the Latin American operator launch its first-ever mobile gaming offering, while the Sisal deal sees Mobenga provide mobile sportsbook software for iOS and Android platforms for this month’s Euro 2012 football championships, with the final taking place this Sunday.
