Playtech applies for Jersey licence
Application follows delegation from largest Channel Island visiting Israel last year.

Playtech has applied for an operating licence in Jersey, to supplement its licences in Alderney and other jurisdictions.
The AIM-listed service provider has made the application after a business delegation from the largest Channel Island visited Israel, where Playtech is based, last year.
Playtech CEO Mor Weizer (pictured_ said: “We met last year with the Jersey authorities in Israel who convinced us of the merits of the new licencing regime and their commitment to the sector.”
On top of the Jersey application, Playtech is also applying for licences in Germany and South Africa following the announcement of joint ventures with Merkur Interactive and Peermont earlier this week.
