Playtech appoints Ian Ince as head of regulation and compliance
Former head of regulation at Sportingbet joins Israeli supplier as focus on compliance increases
Israeli software supplier Playtech has appointed Ian Ince as its new head of regulation and compliance.
Ince previously served as head of regulation for Sportingbet for three years before the operator was acquired by William Hill and GVC earlier this year. Since the acquisition was completed in March Ince has been consulting to the egaming industry.
In his new role at Playtech Ince will focus on managing the supplier’s ongoing regulation processes, building relationships with regulators, and ensuring it meets existing legislations in the jurisdictions it operates in.
Furthermore, Ince will be responsible for leading Playtech into new regulated markets, with CEO Mor Weizer recently stating the company was still hopeful of gaining traction in the US and keen on the opportunity a soon-to-be regulated Dutch market represents.
