Playtech launches Rainbow Riches Bingo
New product devised in partnership with Scientific Games launches on mobile devices and desktop

Playtech has announced the launch of Rainbow Riches Bingo, the first bingo variant of the popular retail slot game.
The product has been licensed and developed in partnership with Scientific Games and is now available across mobile and desktop.
Playtech said its development of the game was mobile-led, first across handset and bespoke tablet platforms, followed by desktop client delivery.
“I’m incredibly proud to bring such an established brand to the Playtech Bingo network,” Gary Keaney, head of bingo at Playtech, said.
“Rainbow Riches has an extremely loyal community and we have worked very hard to build and deliver further social elements to the new game that will both engage existing players, and also attract a new audience,” he added.
Jeremy Bowskill, vice president and chief technology officer – interactive, at Scientific Games, said Playtech’s bingo team did a “fantastic job” in turning the retail slot into digital bingo format.
“[Playtech has added] some highly innovative new features that differentiate the product from our standard player-popular Rainbow Riches bingo side games as well as remaining true to the brand’s original and classic gameplay, bonuses and characters,” Bowskill said.
News of the new product comes after the supplier yesterday announced “record” financial results with revenues and profits up 24% and 30% respectively, although bingo revenues dipped 5% to 17.5m.
Meanwhile, earlier today it was revealed Playtech bingo subsidiary Virtue Fusion and current licensee Unibet would not be renewing their bingo agreement, which is due to come to an end in July.
