Playtech wins hat-trick of prizes at the eGR B2B Awards
Software supplier biggest winner at ceremony " Sporting Solutions and Initial Rewards take home coveted rising star gongs.
Playtech were the big winners at last night’s eGaming Review B2B Awards, held at Wembley Stadium, taking home three trophies from the ceremony.
The software giant took home the bingo network, slot provider and poker network prizes, while Mobenga, acquired by Playtech in July 2011, was awarded mobile supplier of the year. They outperformed a number of established and rising suppliers, four of whom won two trophies.
GTECH G2’s revival continued, with the company winning bingo and lottery supplier of the year awards, while Net Entertainment’s strong casino product was recognised with awards for innovation in slot provision and innovation in RNG casino. Sporting Solutions, the B2B arm of Sporting Index, which launched its cloud-based trading platform – the Cloud Calculation Engines – this year, was presented the innovation in sports betting software trophy, and also took home the coveted software rising star of the year gong.
In the services category Initial Rewards took home the hotly-contested rising star trophy, alongside the retention partner of the year prize. The rise of mobile even saw the introduction of the mobile payments provider of the year category, with OpenMarket winning on the night.
NextGen Gaming became the winner of the first-ever social gaming supplier trophy, beating off fellow nominees Quickspin and Cozy Gaming for the prize.
The awards ceremony was held in The Atrium at Wembley Stadium, following the Subscribers Forum event at the same venue during the day, and hosted by comedienne and ventriloquist Nina Conti, who was ably assisted by eGR editor James Bennett. With more than 400 attendees, it was the biggest B2B Awards yet, and eGaming Review would like to thank all who came for a fantastic night, and congratulate the winners on their success.
