Pocket Fruity partners with Electrocoin
NewGame Capital-backed AlchemyBet launches HTML5 versions of classic UK slot machines.
AlchemyBet’s B2C brand Pocket Fruity has partnered with Electrocoin to develop online and mobile versions of its land-based Bar-X slot machines.
The Bar-X 7 games have been developed in HTML5, as with all AlchemyBet products, and feature the machine’s unique three reel concept with X and O symbols. The games have been given a retro look and feature the original sounds from the machines, which were first launched in the 1970s.
AlchemyBet co-founder and head of games Rob Anderson said of the partnership: “We are very excited to be working with what I consider to be the most successful arcade game producer in the UK.
“Bringing the classic Bar-X 7 to the mobile arena was a challenge and I think we have created something that the British arcade player will enjoy,” he added.
Focused exclusively on HTML5 development, AlchemyBet launched Pocket Fruity in June this year. It became the second company to secure investment from the bwin.party backed venture capital fund NewGame Capital, run by Cashcade co-founders Patrick Southon and Simon Collins.
