Poker Royalty and Paddy Power in live event partnership
In-play betting markets to be offered on live-streamed poker tournament in Dublin.

Poker agency Poker Royalty, a company which offers player management and consulting services, has announced the launch of iSeriesLIVE, a series of live poker events with an in-play betting element.
The first event will take place in Dublin on 5 April, with Paddy Power securing exclusive rights for in-play betting on the single table tournament, which features players including former world champion Carlos Mortensen and Paddy Power sponsored pro Eoghan O’Dea.
Bets can be placed on the winner of the tournament, while there are also a number of in-play markets for the event, which will be streamed live online with players’ hole cards visible to viewers.
Streaming is provided by WinMedia, and will be available through Paddy Power’s portal and the iSeriesLIVE website.
Other markets available include the next player to be eliminated, and whether the next flop will be mostly red or black.
Players involved, who also include Poker Royalty clients Phil Hellmuth (pictured), Daniel Negreanu and Tobias Reinkemeier and, will receive a revenue share of all bets placed for or against them for the duration of the tournament, which has a buy-in of 10,000.
Betting on the tournament will only be permitted in licensed and regulated markets, although the live stream will be made available worldwide.
Poker Royalty founder Brian Balsbaugh said: “There are countless additional ways for us to monetize this model and we look forward to rolling them out over the course of the next year. Our end goal is to pay players for playing iSeriesLIVE events.”
