PokerStars joins All India Gaming Federation
Operator will sign up to a self-regulation regime as part of membership

PokerStars India has announced that it has joined the All India Gaming Federation (AIGF), after going live earlier this year.
Under the terms of its membership the AIGF will closely work with PokerStars India and all its members to ensure fair and transparent gaming practices are followed by all operators.
The AIGF which was first established in 2016, is a not-for-profit organisation which promotes advocacy, research and discussion among gaming industry stakeholders in India.
It recently launched the Skill Games Charter with the purpose of self-regulating all games of skill played online to enforce high standards of consumer protection in the skill gaming industry.
Roland Landers, CEO of the AIGF said “AIGF welcomes PokerStars India on board as its member. Since AIGF has recently launched the Skill Games Charters which we expect, will streamline the gaming industry, the association with PokerStars India couldn’t have come at a better time.”
PokerStars India, which operates via Sachiko Gaming recently signed up Muskan Sethi, the so-called “first lady” of Indian Poker as its latest brand ambassador.
Ankur Dewani, CEO, Sachiko Gaming added: “The association with AIGF could not have come at a better time for us as we set foot in the Indian gaming industry. Apart from offering the best-in-class experience to our users, we think values like ethical practices, transparent structure and a policy driven atmosphere is equally important.
“We believe that our association with AIGF will not only establish our stand towards policy advocacy but also help our brand in the long-run”.
