PokerStars expands mobile offering
Real-money iPhone and Android play available in further countries after the UK and Italy.

PokerStars has launched a real-money poker mobile app in France, as well as a number of other countries catered to by its dot.eu site.
According to operator’s dot.fr site, the French-facing product has launched on both Apple and Android devices. Players are able to play up to five tables on iPads and up to four on other devices.
Other markets including Sweden, Finland, Romania, Slovenia and Poland – all of which are served by the Maltese-licensed pokerstars.eu site – also now offer players the opportunity to play on mobile according to PokerStars director of new platforms Jeffrey Haas.
The Isle of Man-based operator launched its first real-money mobile app for its dot.it players in January this year, while a UK-facing version followed suit shortly after.
Haas had revealed earlier this month that PokerStars was working on developing a version of its fast-paced Zoom offering for mobile devices. This was made available for players to test at the ongoing European Poker Tour Grand Final in Monaco.
