Poll: What has been egaming's greatest innovation in the last 10 years?
Which has stood out the most: in-play, mobile sportsbook, rush poker or something completely different?

In July’s issue of eGaming Review we tackle the myth of the online gambling industry lacking innovation, and in this week’s poll we would like to know what you think has been the greatest egaming innovation in the last decade.
Rush Poker has been one of the most emulated innovations, with plenty of operators and networks following Full Tilt’s lead in introducing fast-fold variants of the game. Playtech became the latest to go down that particular route, announcing plans to roll out Speed Hold’em last week, with Bet365 becoming the first operator on the network to test out the offering with Sprint Poker going live on exclusive tables on Friday.
Elsewhere, mobile has contributed an increasing proportion of a number of operators’ revenues, thus making the case for mobile sportsbooks to be considered among the greatest innovations the industry has seen in its relatively short history.
Mobile accounted for some 20% of Ladbrokes’ revenues in the operator’s recent first-quarter results, while for Paddy Power 15% of total gaming revenues came from mobile devices, according to the company’s most recent interim management statement .
A number of egaming operators have taken their faith in mobile even further in recent months, with Betfair and Paddy Power rolling out mobile betting apps specifically for the European football championships.
On a wider scale, in-play betting has proved a valuable innovation across the industry, interacting with the growth of mobile and contributing more and more to operators’ bottom lines.
Betfair’s move to introduce a fixed-odds sportsbook earlier this month was in part a result of a drive to improve the operator’s in-play offering, while Australian lawmakers have recognised the clamour for the regulation of in-play betting as the country looks to update its Interactive Gambling Act.
Do you believe one of these is the industry’s biggest innovation over the last 10 years, or has anything else particularly caught your eye?
