Probability in GeoComply deal
Mobile operator selects Nevada-based geolocation partner for Apple and Android devices.

Mobile gambling operator Probability has struck a deal for GeoComply’s player geolocation services, allowing it to keep tabs on players using Apple and Android devices.
The news comes just one month after the Gibraltar-licensed company brought its flagship LadyLucks casino offering to Apple’s App Store, offering slots and roulette on iPhones and iPads.
Probability CEO Charles Cohen explained that his company had selected GeoComply because “They understand not only the regulatory and social responsibility standards we adhere to, but also the absolute priority of giving the player a seamless customer experience and where all the ‘hard yards’ required for the geolocation are done in the background.”
Probability is in the process of applying for a finding of suitability ahead of a potential application for a Nevada egaming licence; however it is not among those applicants whose cases will be heard by the Nevada State Gaming Control Board this week.
GeoComply, based in Nevada, has upped its recruitment drive this year with the appointment of Lindsay Kinninmonth as operations manager for North America and Macrina Martinez as the head of its North American office.
Anna Sainsbury (pictured), GeoComply CEO, said: “Conventional geolocation technologies often make it very hard for operators to know with confidence where their players are coming from. In the case of regulated markets, we provide that assurance for them.”
