Quickspin enters partnership with GTS
Deal is second from games developer after social deal with Plumbee earlier this year.

Swedish-based game development studio Quickspin has entered into a multi-year partnership with Gaming Technology Solutions (GTS).
Under the terms of the deal GTS will be able to offer games from Quickspin’s portfolio to a number of operators using the company’s EdGE platform.
Among the operators to use the EdGE platform is Unibet, where Quickspin VP of strategy Joachim Timmermans was head of casino and games for more than five years.
Unibet head of gaming Daniel Eskola said: Unibet strives to offer casino games of the highest quality from multiple suppliers. We look forward to adding the Quickspin games to our current offering and feel confident that our players will enjoy them.”
The deal is the second to be announced by Quickspin this year following its partnership with London-based social start-up Plumbee, through which the Mirrorball series of slots were launched on Facebook.
More than 1 million Facebook users have played the Mirrorball slots, which include titles based on traditional fairy tales such as Goldilocks and Rapunzel’s Tower. The latter of the two titles is also expected to be available for GTS licensees in the third quarter of this year.
Daniel Lindberg (pictured), Quickspin CEO, said of the new partnership: “The GTS Enhanced Gaming Engine (EdGE) platform has a proven track record allowing us to offer our games to a very wide range of casino players.”
