Racing Post hires Gamesys exec as digital marketing director
Gethin Evan joins the media firm as it continues to increase its investment in growing the betting side of the business

The Racing Post has hired former Gamesys and Paddy Power Betfair (PPB) exec Gethin Evans as its new digital marketing director.
Evans joins after a one-year stint as head of marketing for the sports product at Gamesys, and two-and-a-half years as head of marketing for PPB’s New Jersey exchange.
The appointment marks the second major betting-related hire from the Racing Post this month, after it named Matchbook COO Cian Nugent as betting and affiliates director last week.
The media company is understood to be ramping up its focus on the betting side of the business.
Racing Post CMO Louise Agran said: “Gethin brings a wealth of experience in digital betting following senior marketing roles at Paddy Power Betfair both in the UK and US and most recently at Gamesys.
“Gethin has built marketing functions in start-ups as well as launching established brands into new territories and we are delighted he is now leading the digital marketing team at Racing Post.
“We are thrilled to be working with him and know his knowledge and skills will be invaluable as we continue our ambitious growth plans.”
