RakeTech Group appoints new chairman
Malta-based affiliate hires Christian Lundberg, Microsoft’s former regional director for the Nordics

RakeTech has strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of former Fortum and Microsoft director, Christian Lundberg, as the egaming affiliate’s new chairman.
Lundberg joins the Malta-based firm having previously worked as a strategic advisor to a number of public and private companies via his own A Force 4U business.
He also previously served as COO for Fortum’s Sweden-facing business and Microsoft’s regional director for the Nordics.
“I believe RakeTech has real possibilities to drive the continued development of the sector through responsible affiliate services with a focus on user value, and consequently secure a long-term and sustainable growth,” Lundberg said.
“At the same time, we will continue to pursue our active acquisition agenda, where we target assets of high quality with leading market positions.”
Earlier this year, RakeTech also announced the appointment of a new chief financial officer (CFO), Anna Nilsson, as well as adding ex-Evolution Gaming CFO Fredrik Svederman to the board.
Raketech Group CEO, Michael Holmberg, said Lundberg’s appointment would “further sharpen” the company’s leadership team following a raft of recent hires.
“Christian has vast experience from building winning cultures where everyone works towards the same goals and meets market demands with a focus on long-term values and profitability,” he added.
“He joins in an intense period where we among other activities recently have acquired several assets in Denmark.”
