Rank partners with Cozy for mobile
Rank Interactive to launch suite of mobile games on Cozy Connect platform.
Cozy Games has agreed a deal to supply Rank Interactive with its Cozy Connect mobile platform, with seventeen games set to go live as part of the launch package.
Cozy Connect allows operators to integrate third-party gaming content onto the platform alongside Cozy’s own products, sharing liquidity between online and mobile devices. The company also provides an integrated payments solution, meaning players can make deposits via their phone provider account.
Rank’s head of mobile Simon Woolf commented that the decision to partner with Cozy was based on the strength of its proprietary mobile games: ” We chose Cozy Connect for its fantastic proprietary mobile technology.
“They were very responsive to our requirements and provide us with a wide range of new gaming content for the mobile channel on a variety of platforms,” Woolf explained.
Cozy COO Tim Green, whose appointment was followed by the launch of Cozy’s Facebook platform, targeting the US market, said: “Mobile gaming is the fastest growing gambling market and we are proud to be leading the way. Rank Interactive is a leading European betting and gaming company and we are delighted to announce this momentous partnership.”
The deal comes after Rank Group agreed to acquire Gala Coral’s 23 land-based UK casinos earlier this month for a total consideration of £205m.
