Rightlander launches new Compliance Live report
Affiliate compliance firm targets illegal live streaming websites before German football resumption

Rightlander has introduced a new product to crack down on illegal football streaming sites when top-tier football leagues resume amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The Compliance Live product intensifies scanning of web traffic to help operators identify where their brand is being positioned on a pre-defined set of websites during live matches.
It also enables operators to monitor campaigns and brand mentions during matches allowing them to assess media partner activities during games.
Compliance Live allows for both real time brand monitoring as well as pre-defined scans, locating affiliate content at specific times to coincide with users watching illegal online streams.
Rightlander said this is one of the biggest challenges faced by its operator partners as affiliates will often only display brand links during the games, making it harder to spot copyright infringements.
Rightlander founder Ian Sims said the firm would first utilise Compliance Live in scanning affiliate sites during the resumption of the German Bundesliga this weekend.
“We expect our activity to ramp up considerably as top-flight football resumes across the globe following the recent hiatus and we look forward to working with our partners to ensure a safe and compliant experience for all affiliate traffic,” Sims said.
Rightlander last month debuted a new Covid-19 report aimed at monitoring affiliate activity across the Spanish market following the government’s decision to ban online gambling ads during the Covid-19 outbreak.
