Ruffett leaves Unibet to lead Tabcorp Sun Casino
Unibet's head of casino joins Tabcorp's UK-facing business to launch a new The Sun-??branded casino product

Unibet head of casino Adam Ruffett has left the firm to join Tabcorp where he will be responsible for launching the Australian operator’s new UK-facing Sun Casino product, eGaming Review has learned.
Ruffett, whose final day at Unibet was on 29 January, took up his new London-based head of casino role earlier this month, as Tabcorp prepares to add to its Sun Bets sportsbook with a The Sun-branded online casino.
In December it was revealed Tabcorp had signed a 10-year deal with The Sun publisher News UK, which will see the Melbourne-headquartered operator power a UK-facing sportsbook.
The Australian wagering company has since been busy building its UK team and in recent weeks appointed former Betfair Malta managing director David Blackman as head of operations.
Tabcorp’s new head of casino Ruffett had spent nearly five years at Unibet following his appointment in December 2011 as head of casino operations, before taking up his most recent head of casino role in June 2014.
Prior to joining the Stockholm-listed operator, which yesterday reported a 15% year-on-year rise in 2015 revenues from its casino and games business, Ruffett worked in a number of gaming roles at Sportingbet, Gala Coral and Eurobet.
