SBK hires two jockeys to brand ambassador stable
Sean Levey and Nicola Currie will wear SBK-branded breeches and produce exclusive content for the operator’s mobile betting app

Flat jockeys Sean Levey and Nicola Currie and have both been recruited as brand ambassadors for Smarkets’ SBK sportsbook brand.
As part of the deal, Levey and Currie will don the SBK logo on their breeches and produce exclusive content for the London-based operator’s mobile app.
The announcement comes hard on the heels of SBK signing reigning all-weather champion Richard Kingscote prior to Royal Ascot in June.
Levey is a multiple Group 1 winner who claimed victory aboard Snow Lantern in this July’s Tattersalls Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket’s July Festival.
The 33-year-old, who is a stable jockey to Richard Hannon, has inked a two-year deal with SBK.
Leading female jockey Currie, who recently landed the Silver Saddle trophy at the Shergar Cup thanks to two wins, a second and a third at Ascot, has signed with SBK until the end of the 2022 flat season.
The 28-year-old Scot has enjoyed an excellent 2021 after having fought back from an injury-hit season in 2020.
She said: “I’m delighted to be sponsored by SBK up until the end of the 2022 season and can’t wait to work with them on some entertaining content for social media.
“I’m very grateful for the support and SBK are clearly one to watch in the betting space with their unique focus on providing industry-leading odds.”
Adam Baylis of SBK said: “It’s fantastic to be able to welcome Sean and Nicola on board at SBK. They are both hugely talented jockeys whose records speak for themselves and we look forward to seeing them ride lots of winners in SBK branding.”
The SBK app features sportsbook odds integrated from the operator’s flagship exchange brand.
