SBTech appoints former Paddy Power Betfair director as COO
Sportsbook supplier recruits industry veteran Dave Hammond as new chief operating officer
Sports betting technology supplier SBTech has appointed former Paddy Power Betfair (PPB) B2B director Dave Hammond as its new chief operating officer (COO).
Hammond previously directed commercial operations for almost three years at PPB and also spent 20 years at Inspired Gaming where he spent almost a decade as SVP of mobile.
In his new role at SBTech, Hammond will manage global operations, as well as overseeing the firm’s technology, research and development, operations and business analytics teams.

Hammond starts work today and will now be based in the Bulgarian capital of Sofia.
