SBTech in exclusive deal with Globet
UK-facing firm to take on live betting platform from solutions provider
Bulgaria-based solutions provider SBTech has reached an exclusive agreement with Globet to provide the UK-licensed operator with its live betting platform.
The deal expands SBTech’s reach in the UK, following January’s mobile deal with 10Bet, and comes just weeks after the firm was highly commended in the in-play betting software company of the year category at the eGaming Review B2B Awards.
SBTech’s live betting solution allows operators to offer in-play betting on 8,000 sporting events on more than 20 different sports.
“This is an excellent step forward for SBTech and we’re thrilled that a respected veteran UK bookmaker such as Globet has recognised our capabilities,” SBTech chief executive Itai Zak said.
“[SBTech’s] expertise will allow us to grow our business thanks to a more cost-effective live betting product”, Globet CEO Enrico Salvatori said. He described the live betting solution as “one of the best products in the industry today”.
