SBTech to supply Betshop with live betting solution
Sportsbook software supplier to provide online and retail in-play product

Sports Betting Technology (SBTech) has signed a deal with Betshop to supply the bookmaker with its live betting solution for online and retail customers.
SBTech CEO Itai Zak, who joined the company in August last year, said: “Our partnership with Betshop will allow them to benefit from a fully managed live betting solution thus reducing their trading and operational costs significantly. Not only are we trusted by respected gaming operators and online casino or poker sites, but also by leading bookmakers with an established ‘real world’ presence.”
The deal follows SBTech’s strategic partnership with Gaming Media Group to launch Mermaid Bet in Denmark, agreed in October 2011, and its deal with Red Star Poker to create a Russia-facing sportsbook in December.
Betshop, formerly owned by Leisure and Gaming Group (LNG), was sold to investor syndicate Honeymead Services for 1m in October 2010.
