SIS expands with new trading service
B2B supplier says SIS Trading Services will help it become a "one-stop-shop" for sports betting operators

SIS is branching out into the competitive sports odds provision market in a move the supplier says will see it become a “one-stop-shop” for online operators.
SIS Trading Services, which is currently in soft-launch, offers customers a full range of odds including pre-event and in-play prices on a number of sports which will initially include Spanish football and international horseracing.
The sports data provider, which is currently in the process of expanding its London-based trading team, plans to cover all major domestic and international sports as it continues to diversify away from its core retail-focused pictures and audio supply business.
The new division is led by SIS head of trading and former Ladbrokes head of in-play Adam Conway, who said the decision to offer a trading service was in line with company strategy to offer customers a “complete service”.
“We have been providing video and data feeds to the global betting industry for more than 25 years now, but the pricing operation is part of the evolution of our product range,” Conway said.
“As well as supplying operators with pictures and information we can now provide them with a full package that includes pricing, with all of the cost-savings that entails.
“It will be particularly relevant to the growing number of online sportsbooks around the world who don’t have the capability in-house or those who have been put off launching until now by the prohibitive cost,” he added.
Last year SIS launched a real-time data feed service for Spanish football after signing an exclusive partnership with La Liga. It now has a network of more than 80 scouts who collect in-play data from more than 2,500 matches per season.
According to SIS, the scouting model enables it to deliver data that is up to ten seconds faster than most broadcast images.
The odds feed will be made available via a direct integration to an operator or via a third party platform provider.
