Sisal selects bwin.party subsidiary Kalixa as payment partner
Kalixa to acquire and process Sisal's payments under the agreement, the first major deal since Kalixa spin-off
Bwin.party subsidiary Kalixa has been selected as the payment partner for Italian gaming company Sisal, in Kalixa’s first major deal since its spin-off from the online gaming giant earlier this year.
Kalixa will acquire and process Sisal’s payments on a single, integrated platform incorporating more than 200 payment methods, including new deposit payment methods such as PayPal and Paysafecard.
“Customer satisfaction and development of payment services are our key priorities, and the partnership with Kalixa is a key step in its execution,” Maurizio Santacroce, Head of Business Unit Digital Games and Services at Sisal Group, said.
Kalixa Group CEO Ed Chandler said the company was proud to be working with one of the biggest players of the Italian market.
“This partnership further strengthens Kalixa’s position as the leading payment provider to the gaming industry,” he said.
Bwin.party spun off Kalixa in April this year, with the aim of allowing it to win new business outside of the gambling sector. The gaming group revealed in its Q2 results that the payments provider is to launch new services on iOS and Android later this year.
Sisal Group manages the Italian lottery games SuperEnalotto, SiVinceTutto Enalotto and Eurojackpot, while also maintaining a sports betting licence.
