SkillOnNet launches safer gambling tool across brand portfolio
Swedish-licensed operator to roll out Neccton-powered tool on in-house and white-label brands

SkillOnNet has launched a new machine learning safer gambling tool in combination with data science specialists Neccton.
The tool – known as Mentor – tracks player data to detect risk patterns, changes in behaviour and flag signs of problem gambling.
In the event a player is considered to be at risk, they are given personal feedback and tailored communications aimed at preventing further harm.
The communications, developed in collaboration with behavioural scientists and psychologists, are based on a counselling technique known as “motivational interviewing”. Developed by clinical psychologists Stephen Rollnick and William R Miller, the approach uses nudges to achieve behavioural change.
It will be rolled out within SkillOnNet brands PlayOJO, Slingo, Lucky Vegas, Royal Bet, AHTI Games and SlotsMagic.
SkillOnNet head of compliance Andy Andrew said the company was thrilled to have access to the state-of-the art tool which would be rolled out on in-house online brands and with white-label partners.
“Safer gambling is one of the most important aspects of operating in online casino markets and although already very advanced in this area using in-house tools, we are proud to be among the first to adopt and launch innovative technologies,” said Andrew.
“This ensures that players who show signs of risk via customer interaction receive the best possible advice and practical help,” he added.
