SKS365 appoints new legal and compliance director

SKS365 has appointed Italian lawyer Massimiliano Mura as its new director of legal and compliance.

Mura becomes the second senior appointment in recent months, following the appointment of Alexander Martin as CEO of SKS365 in December.

A veteran with 13 years’ professional experience in the egaming sector, Mura has previously worked as a consultant for Stanleybet Malta Limited and its Magellan Robotech Limited subsidiary.

He also has extensive experience of the Italian egaming and sports betting market, where SKS365 predominantly focuses its sports betting operations through the Planetwin365 brand. Mura has further experience in European legislation, financial disputes, AML and data processing.

Speaking about his new role, Mura highlighted the importance of compliance as an “indispensable pillar” in creating and enhancing offerings for consumers.

“I am honoured to take up this role to further implement and develop the legal department in SKS365. It is a challenge that I accept with great enthusiasm,” Mura said.

SKS365 CEO Alexander Martin said the appointment of Mura would prove to be a vital cog in positioning SKS365 as a responsible and transparent business.

“Mura has one of the best profiles in the industry and is well known nationally and internationally. Beside his functional expertise, he stands up to the high motivation and commitment of SKS365,” Martin added.
