SKS365 hires new general counsel
Bepi Pezzulli appointed as new legal chief as business targets “new company course”
SKS365 Group has announced the appointment of Bepi Pezzulli as its new general counsel.
Pezzulli replaces previous general counsel Angela Gemma, who left SKS365 along with CEO Ian McLaughlin and chief financial controller Aaron Meli in January. In his new role, Pezzulli will manage the activities of the SKS365 legal department as a strategic advisor, reporting to the management team and board of directors.
A qualified lawyer in London, New York and Italy, Pezzulli has previously served as chairman of Italian think-tank Select Milano and has previously served as a non-executive director for a number of cryptocurrency and financial services firms.
Speaking about his new role, Pezzulli said it will provide the opportunity to “demonstrate that legal, compliance and business ethics produce value for shareholders”.
Francesco Gaziano, SKS365 chief marking officer, paid tribute to Pezzulli’s experience, saying it will prove “invaluable for the new company course”.
SKS365 recently announced the rebranding of its PlanetWin365 business, as it targets a renewed focus on its multi-channel sports betting business.
As a part of the rebranding process, a new TV, radio and online media campaign using the slogan ‘Il nostro gioco è di un altro pianeta’ (Our Game is from Another Planet) will be launched in the Italian market.
