Sky Bet looks to incentivise customers with Bonus Builder feature
Bonus Builder is an extension of the operator’s popular Sky Bet Club and enables customers to top-up their weekly free bets

Sky Betting & Gaming (SB&G) is launching a ‘Bonus Builder’ feature via its Sky Bet Club as the operator looks to incentivise customers to continue to wager throughout the relatively quiet summer of sport.
Bonus Builder is set to go live next Monday (29 May) and will enable customers to earn an additional weekly bonus on top of the £5 free bet available via the Sky Bet Club when a customer stakes £25.
The offer will run for nine weeks with a £10 bonus on offer in week one and £2.50 each week thereafter, meaning punters can earn up to a total of £30. All Bonus Builder free bets will be credited to qualifying accounts on Monday 31 July, ahead of the start of the new football season.
The recent end of the Premier League football season precedes what is shaping up to be a relatively quiet summer for online sportsbooks with the absence of a major football tournament to drive customer acquisition.
Last summer, sportsbooks benefitted from both the Euro 2016 and the Olympics in Brazil, and other operators are believed to be looking to experiment with new marketing strategies over the coming weeks.
“The summer months usually provide an opportunity for marketing and product teams to be more creative and test different things,” Manuel Stan, marketing director at the Kindred Group, recently told EGR.
“We will certainly see new types of promotions and games and product launches in the Kindred world over the next few months.”
