Sky Bet strengthens partnership with NYX
Operator to work with supplier to roll out exclusive gaming titles across its UK and Italy-facing brands

Sky Betting and Gaming (SB&G) has strengthened its partnership with NYX Gaming to support the rollout of “market-leading” features and functionality across its UK and Italy-facing products.
The deal will see Sky Bet UK and Sky Bet Italia integrate NYX’s Open Gaming System, giving players access to a portfolio of more than 1,000 titles from NYX’s in-house games studio NextGen.
NYX will also work with Sky Bet’s internal game development unit Core Gaming to produce 36 exclusive games each year.
SB&G CEO Richard Flint said: “Enhancing that customer experience is a core focus for Sky Betting and Gaming and the strengthening of the relationship with NYX is another big step towards our objective to build the best casino in the market.”
Today’s announcement comes after the Leeds-headquartered operator co-funded NYX’s acquisition of OpenBet in May 2016, investing £20m in the deal.
NYX Gaming Group CEO Matt Davey added: “This partnership is significant to NYX, representing a firm endorsement of the group as a whole, and emphasising the vital role it plays for the industry’s most successful operators around the world.
“It also reaffirms NYX’s commitment to building our partnerships and maximising the relationships across a number of different areas to deliver optimum value to our clients.”
Earlier this week, SB&G announced its Sky Bet Italia managing director, Giovanna D’Esposito, had left the business following a re-organisation of the operator’s International operations.
