Sky Betting & Gaming selects SBTech platform for Germany push
Deal will see the operator utilise SBTech’s pricing, trading and risk management services to aid its expansion into the new market

Sky Betting & Gaming (SB&G) has selected SBTech to be its new platform provider in Germany as part of a landmark deal designed to aid the operator’s international push, EGR Intel can exclusively reveal.
The agreement will see the Leeds-headquartered operator utilise the supplier’s pricing, trading and risk management services, as well as its CRM, payments, reporting and automated bonusing tools.
“The deal with Sky Bet consolidates our position as the market-leading provider of sportsbook and platform solutions for premium operators,” Richard Carter, CEO of SBTech, said.
He added: “I’m particularly looking forward to overseeing close collaboration between our teams.
“Innovation is at the core of both of our organisations, and together we can push the boundaries of the sports betting industry.”
SB&G is expected to unveil its Germany-facing site in the coming weeks having previously teamed up with media giant Sky Deutschland to launch its free-to-play Super 6 product in the market (available at 6erpack.sky.de).
Sky Bet’s German customers will benefit from localised products, content and payment methods, and will also be able to take advantage of SBTech’s innovative betting features, including flexible cash out, enhanced accumulators and price boosts.
“Our growth strategy is focused on agility and technological innovation and as such, SBTech was the natural choice as our sportsbook and platform provider,” Jochen Weiner, managing director of Sky Bet Deutschland, said.
