Sky Bet in first football partnership
Alderney-licensed operator will be Leeds United's Official Betting & Gaming Partner for 2013-2014 season

Sky Bet will be the official betting & gaming partner of Championship football club Leeds United for the 2013/14 season in its first deal with a professional football club.
The partnership will see the Leeds-based operator providing United’s matchday betting operation as well as seeing the firm appear across many of the club’s digital marketing and broadcast platforms and on the club’s own football channel LUTV.
Leeds United managing director David Haigh said the club was “delighted” to be partnering with the operator. “The Sky Bet brand is one of the most high profile, fastest growing brands within its sector and we are proud to be the first direct football club partnership with Sky Bet,” he said.
Richard Flint, managing director at Sky Bet, described the deal as “a fantastic opportunity” for two Leeds-based companies to work together.
Sky Bet recorded strong growth in the third quarter of 2013 and is on course to post over £100m in full-year revenues. The company was named Operator of the Year at the 2012 eGaming Review Operator Awards.
