SkyBet agrees WMS slot content deal
Sky Vegas to gain access to WMS's online slot content for use across desktop and mobile via existing platform agreement through OpenBet's RGI.

Sky Vegas will gain access to WMS’s online slot content for use across desktop and mobile via its existing platform agreement through OpenBet’s Remote Gaming Interface (RGI), it has announced this morning.
The agreement provides SkyBet’s casino brand with access to WMS’s online library of slot games via its recently launched Williams Interactive division while also “expanding the global consumer audience for the US company’s premium video slot gaming content”, WMS said in a statement.
eGaming Review understands that OpenBet is currently integrating WMS’s online slot content onto its RGI with no date confirmed as to when the games will be available on Sky Vegas.
Game titles will include The Wizard of Oz, Zeus, Reel ‘Em In and games developed for WMS’s UK-facing real money and social gaming brand Jackpot Party.
Orrin J. Edidin, president of WMS Industries and CEO and president of Williams Interactive, said: “The agreement again highlights the growing momentum we are generating in expanding the worldwide audience for our gaming content. I’m confident that our industry-leading content will provide excitement and great gaming experiences to the Sky Vegas online community and that together we will achieve great success in the years to come.”
Samuel Downey, head of casino and games at Sky Betting & Gaming, added: “Being able to offer the popular slot content from WMS to Sky Vegas players has been a top priority for some time. In land-based casino environments, it is common to see players standing in line for a chance to enjoy the great gaming entertainment WMS is known for and we are very happy to now offer these great player experiences online for our customers. As WMS games become available online, I expect they will quickly become new favourites of our players.”
