Smarkets to launch in Colorado and Indiana through Full House Resorts deal
Exchange operator’s SBK sportsbook app will be available in Indiana before the end of 2019

Smarkets will launch its SBK sportsbook app in Indiana and Colorado, after signing a long-term partnership with casino operator Full House Resorts.
The multi-million-dollar agreement will allow customers to download the SBK app on iOS and Android devices in late 2019, according to the exchange firm.
Online sports betting is already legal in Indiana, while Colorado residents will vote in November to ratify the state’s latest sports betting bill.

Smarkets CEO Jason Trost
Smarkets CEO Jason Trost said: “This is a landmark day for Smarkets. As an American myself, I’m thrilled to bring our world-leading technology to Indiana and Colorado, as well as more states across the country.
“I truly believe that an agile company like ours can make a huge impact against some of the bigger players thanks to our superior technology and focus on providing the best prices,” he added.
Smarkets, which is headquartered in London with further offices in Malta and Los Angeles, has not ruled out launching its exchange platform in the US in the future, although exchange betting is complicated by the Wire Act.
Trost spoke to EGR Intel in August about reaching new customers with the sportsbook without losing sight of the firm’s core principles.
