
Smarkets unveils Auto Acca innovation in SBK app


Smarkets has unveiled a number of innovations within its new SBK sportsbook app, including a Auto Acca feature that creates a randomised accumulator for a punter at the touch of a button.
The new feature was rolled out last week in response to customer demand, according to Smarkets marketing lead Oliver Mellin.
“Obviously we have a lot of our own ideas, but sometimes the best suggestions come from customers,” Mellin said.
“Feedback on Auto Acca has been really positive so far,” he added. Mellin said the feature and the wider SBK app was designed to appeal to a more recreational user base than the typical Smarkets customer.
That approach has also seen the development of a Hot Tips feed, where users can see popular bets and explanations by other punters.
Elsewhere, Smarkets is testing the ‘SBK Price +’ tag, where it highlights its prices that are the best in the market.
The tag initially compared SBK prices to bet365 on pre-match football bets, but Mellin said it would likely be expanded to best price in the market.
“The idea is to be transparent as we can, and we aim to be best price on the majority if not all prices,” Mellin added.
At SBK we want to be transparent with customers and our ultimate goal is to be best price on every market. So yes, only in pre-match football bets, if you don’t see the triangle we don’t have the best price yet. We will be adding other bookmakers and sports soon. Happy betting!

SBK is still in testing ahead of a full launch, with users currently asked to join a queue to download the app.
The sportsbook will spearhead Smarkets’ planned launch in the US.
