Soft2Bet CEO steps down after four years
Boris Chaikin departs supplier and is replaced in the interim by ex-CBDO Uri Poliavich

Soft2Bet CEO Boris Chaikin has stepped down from his position with the firm after more than four years at the helm.
Chaikin joined Soft2Bet in July 2018 as CEO from fellow supplier Offside Gaming where he spent almost a decade across a series of senior roles.
During his time with Soft2Bet, Chaikin oversaw a period of sustained growth, increasing the headcount from fewer than 100 staff to more than 1,000 across three European locations.
He also secured the services of former KPMG Malta head Max Portelli as the group’s chief financial officer in September 2020.
Under Chaikin’s leadership, Soft2Bet generated double-digit growth every quarter, while he managed the team across its geographic expansion into Latam and Europe.
Chaikin will be replaced by former Soft2Bet CBDO Uri Poliavich as interim CEO until a permanent successor is found.
Touching on his decision to leave the company, Chaikin said: “After a bit more than four years as the first CEO of the company, the time has come to move on and make the announcement that I have stepped down as a CEO of the Soft2Bet Group.
“Some announcements are sad, some happy, others bring relief. This one is an all-in-one announcement. Why sad? Because I leave a team of hundreds of talented, devoted and hard-working people, many of whom I consider friends.
“Why happy? Because I feel proud of the achievements during my time at the forefront of Soft2Bet. Why relief? Because I leave Soft2Bet as one of the rising stars on the online gambling horizon, and as a shareholder, I am more than confident in its future achievements,” he added.
