Sportingbet completes Danish acquisitions
Maximum consideration for Danbook and Scandic is £8.5m.

Sportingbet has completed the acquisition of Danish-facing sportsbooks Danbook and Scandic, the London-listed bookmaker has announced.
The deal, first announced in October, will see Sportingbet pay a maximum consideration of £8.5m for the two sportsbooks, representing its growing commitment to regulated markets.
Both Danbook and Scandic are among the first companies to receive operating licences in the newly-regulated Danish market, and will offer fixed-odds sports betting as well as casino, poker and games.
Following the launch of their regulated sites on 1 January, they will join the Sportingbet and Centrebet brands in Denmark.
Scandic’s poker offering is included in Ongame’s Danish poker room, launched in December, with the bwin.party-owned network expected to add more skins to the room this year.
