Sportito becomes first DFS platform to launch customer service chatbot
Provider launches an integrated chatbot on Facebook Messenger to help solve customer queries

Sportito Daily Fantasy Sports has become the first DFS provider to integrate a chatbot into its platform to help customers find a solution to their queries.
The Sportito Chatbot is a computer programme designed to stimulate intelligent conversations online that first went live on Facebook Messenger.
Sportito CEO Riccardo Mittiga said: “Sportito Chatbot is an effective tool to engage with our users and millions of fans from our partner football clubs.
“Innovation is our main focus in making Sportito the best DFS provider.
“Sportito hires IT experts that have previously worked with top companies like Amazon and Ebay and they are working hard to improve the platform according to user likings,” he added.
The software will also allow users to access Sportito games though the chatbot itself through links in personalised messages, news and videos.
ASAP Italia-owned Sportito was founded in 2016 and signed official partnership deals with three English football teams including Premier League side Burnley and Championship club Fulham.
According to Sportito, a study from Transparency Marketing Research predicts a very strong increase in the turnover generated worldwide by chatbots, from $113m in 2015 to $994.5m by 2024.
Sky Betting & Gaming announced in January that it was developing an AI-powered chatbot to streamline its customer services process, while Paddy Power launched a Facebook Messenger chatbot last year that allowed punters to place bets directly through the instant messaging app.
