Sportradar inks integrity agreement with International Golf Federation
Data giant will use its fraud prevention service to combat match-fixing in the Federation’s upcoming tournaments

Sportradar Integrity Services, a division of Sportradar, have signed a multi-year integrity partnership with the International Golf Federation (IGF).
Under the agreement, the data firm will provide bet monitoring via its Universal Fraud Detection System (UFDS) for multiple IGF tournaments.
The deal kicks off with the 2022 and 2023 editions of the Espirito Santo Trophy and the Eisenhower Trophy, with the former starting in Versailles tomorrow.
The UFDS system analyses betting patterns for abnormalities, and any suspicious matches are reported to partners, which tries to curtail the issue of match-fixing.
Since its inception, the UFDS system has detected more than 7,300 suspicious matches, with over 600 taking place this year alone.
Antony Scanlon, executive director of the IGF, said: “The International Golf Federation are fully committed to the fight against the integrity threats facing our sport, and by partnering with Sportradar Integrity Services, we are putting ourselves in the best position to keep our competitions free of such concerns.”
Andreas Krannich, MD of Sportradar Integrity Services, added: “Sportradar Integrity Services is delighted to partner with the International Golf Federation. Golf has a large viewership around the world and we look forward to assisting in the protection of International Golf Federation competitions from all integrity-related risks over the coming years.”
This deal comes after Sportradar posted a 23% surge in revenue for Q2 2022, which led to a massive share price boost.
