Sportradar signs Football Conference deal
Sports information provider agrees partnership to supply data to Skrill Conference divisions

Sportradar has entered into a three-year partnership with the Football Conference to become the official sports data partner of the three Skrill-sponsored divisions.
The deal, which will see the sports data company supply data relating to the Skrill Premier, North and South Conference divisions, will look to increase the integrity of the leagues and increase the information exchange with the gambling industry.
The deal comes after a series of match-fixing allegations and suspicious betting activity affecting clubs in the Conference leagues were brought to light last season.
Clubs including Billericay Town, AFC Hornchurch and Chelmsford all came under scrutiny from the FA after bookmakers stopped taking bets on several matches involving the clubs.
“We are very pleased to begin this cooperation with The Football Conference. Our market leading betting and sports data services will engage fans in new ways across all platforms,” Carsten Koerl, Sportradar group chief executive officer, said.
The Football Conference said the clubs would feel the financial benefits with money from the deal going straight into central funding of its members.
The news comes after Sportradar last week signed a deal with the Asian Football Confederation to become its integrity partner.
Under the agreement, Sportradar will monitor a number of competitions including the AFC Champions League, AFC Cup and the 2015 Asian Cup and Qualifiers for signs of betting-related corruption and fraudulent activity.
